Barcode Ribbon ink
Barcode ribbon ink, specifically the Inkanto (Amore) brand, is a popular printing ink used in barcode printers of all models and sizes. However, when printing product labels that include barcodes, choosing the right printer is as crucial as selecting the appropriate ink or ribbon. The properties of each ribbon type can vary, making it essential to choose based on the application's needs and customer satisfaction. Ribbons are available in three main types:
Wax Ribbon
Ideal for printing on ordinary paper stickers, semi-gloss matte paper, glossy art paper, and can be applied in printing name tags, price tags, clothing labels, trash bin labels, shelf labels, retail product labels, and general product labels. It's best for printing on semi-gloss matte stickers, producing a beautiful, black-glossy finish.
Wax Resin Ribbon
Suitable for glossy paper stickers such as ART Paper, BOPP, UPO, this ribbon is preferred for more durable labeling requirements. It is used in industrial printing, cold room and freezer environments with temperatures ranging from 0 to -40 degrees Celsius. Commonly used for printing medicine labels, export product tags, cold food detail and price stickers, etc.
Resin Ribbon
This ribbon is best for POLY, VOID, FOIL, LAMINATE, BOPP, UPO, PP WHITE stickers, offering scratch resistance and durability against peeling. It's versatile for general use, especially on special texture stickers with a smooth and glossy surface. Ideal for product warranty labels due to its long-lasting nature, suitable for labeling durable goods.
